Article: Hbbillns 305

Freight wagon with two wheelsets, two-part aluminium sliding walls and six lockable partitions.

This high-capacity wagon is equipped with sliding walls that can be moved by a single person. When open, the entire wagon loading area can be accessed from both sides.
This allows the wagon to be loaded and unloaded using forklift trucks either from a platform or from ground level. This wagon is fitted with "lockable partition" transport guards that enable different kinds of highly sensitive goods to be properly protected when being transported. The transport guards allow the interior of the wagon to be divided up into individual compartments. The loading area and loading space are reduced proportionally to the size of the built-in transport guard. The lockable partitions engage with rows of holes set into the wagon floor and on the top chord.

Please note: Type is similar to the wagon in the photo. For exact dimensions, please refer to the drawing and the data below.

The wagon is identical in construction to Hbbillns 304 and Hbbins 306 and differs in the number of partitions.

Additional information:

The wagon with the "lockable partition" transport guards is used to transport the following goods:

  • Goods that, although suitable for compact loading in terms of their external shape, cannot withstand the pressure caused by the inertial force of the goods stacked further to the rear during a buffing impact.
  • Mixed loads of individual pieces of different shapes, weights and sensitivities.
  • Goods at risk of tipping.
  • High density goods that can only be stacked to a low height.

From a loading point of view, this type of wagon has advantages, especially for customers, due to the large side wall opening and the large clearance:

  • Easy loading with forklift trucks.
  • Large loading height.

The wagon differs from Hbillns 302/303 freight wagons not only in terms of the increased length and width dimensions but also in terms of the sliding wall system, which is guided at the top and runs on rollers at the bottom. As with the predecessor types Hbillns 302/303, the sliding wall system allows the wall to be guided parallel to the vehicle body during the entire opening and closing process. The actuating rods for the sliding wall system are located on the end walls.

The underframe is a welded structure and consists of two continuous side solebars and crossbearers that connect the solebars and on which the forces from the floor and payload are transferred via floor beams. The floor consists of 45 mm thick pine planks and is approved for driving on with forklift trucks for a maximum load of 2.2 t per front wheel.

The wagon is equipped with six lockable partitions (width 2,650 mm; height 2,400 mm) in a steel-wood composite construction, the function and handling of which are identical to those installed in the Hbillns 302/303.
