The 6-axle Sdggmrs(s) 738 double pocket wagon in articulated design is suitable for transporting craneable semi-trailers. The possibility of transporting swap bodies and ISO containers is guaranteed. Before loading the wagon with swap bodies or ISO containers, the support frame height of 88 cm must be set.

The semi-trailers are only fixed and locked in the support frame with their kingpin. There are no wheel chocks in the load pocket. The support frame has a fixed position on the trailer. The support frame is equipped with crash elements to protect the kingpin from overloading. For the transportation of semi-trailers with different coupling heights (88, 98 and 113 cm), the support frame is equipped with a 3-way height adjustment.

The wagon meets the shunting requirements for combined transport wagons. It is forbidden to let the loaded wagon run off or push it off!

There are no restrictions on the shunting handling of the unloaded wagon. Each half of the pocket wagon can be loaded as follows:

  • With 1 semi-trailer with a permissible total mass of 40 t
  • With 2 swap bodies of length group 20 - 24
  • With 1 swap body of length group 26 + 1 swap body of length group 23
  • With 2 ISO containers 20' or 1 ISO container 40'
