Article: Slps 464
Bogie flat wagon with four wheelsets and indirect fastening equipment. The sleeper transport wagon is used for transporting sleepers for track conversion trains according to the UM and UH conversion method during new track construction or track repair. Side-mounted gantry crane rails and drive-over rails between adjacent sleeper transport wagons enable the track to be serviced using gantry cranes. The wagons are equipped with sleeper supports at the end to secure the load and lashing equipment is attached on the solebar at the side.

Additional information:
Slps 464 wagons evolved from type 247 type service wagons. They are equipped with adjustable end stanchions so that the loading length can be changed. The wagons are used for transporting sleepers and track skeletons and are equipped with 12 tensioning winches to secure the load. For operation with gantry cranes, crane rails with a track gauge of 2,806 mm and drive-over rails are available. The smallest negotiable curve radius is 190 m with drive-over rails attached.
