Bogie flat wagon with four wheelsets, stanchions, with and without drop ends and folding bolsters, but without drop sides.
With a loading length of 18.50 m, these wagons are used for transporting heavy, long products from the iron and steel industry, as well as prefabricated parts, wood, small track components, semi-finished products, vehicles, etc.
With the bolsters folded in, i.e. with a level loading area, it is also suitable for transporting heavy tracked vehicles.

Additional information:
The Rps 688 type wagons were created by converting Rs 680 wagons (omission of the drop ends, retrofitting of the handle over the end step).
Wagons that have not been prepared for an automatic coupler have type 931 bogies, while wagons that have been prepared for an automatic coupler are equipped with type 932 bogies. The wagons are equipped with 16 swivel stanchions. The floor can take a wheel load of 5 t and is equipped with folding bolsters.
