Additional information:

The vehicle frame is composed of a box-shaped solebar and two headstocks as well as a total of four flanged beams for supporting the bogies. The headstocks have fixed tension stops to accommodate the draw gear. The body consists of end walls, side flaps, a rocker bearing locking mechanism, sides, the rods for the hopper door and the pneumatic tipping device. There are bearing points on the underside of the body that connect to the vehicle frame.

Bearing points inside the end walls accommodate the central bolts for the rods of the hopper doors. The upper corners of the end walls feature bearing points to accommodate the side flaps, while the outer solebars of the body frame have hinge plates to secure the sides.

The lever mechanism for automatically opening and closing the sides during the tipping process is located in the two end walls of the body. For unloading, the wagon is equipped with three tipping air reservoirs of 150 l each, which have to be topped up from the main air reservoir pipe during train journeys. The filling time from 0 to 7 bar is approx. 60 minutes. The wagon may only be operated by instructed and competent personnel in compliance with the applicable operating instructions. DB AG shall agree appropriate rules with customers for how third parties should operate the wagon.
