Open bulk freight wagons with bulk gravity unloading, hydraulic flap-closing system and four wheelsets. Can be used internationally, specially developed for traffic between Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium. All four flaps are opened and closed simultaneously by actuating a control valve either from the wagon platform or from the bunker gantry using a special long-handled carriage key.

Please note: Type is similar to the wagon in the photo. For exact dimensions, please refer to the data below.

    Additional information:

The wagon is intended for transporting limestone. The underframe is a welded steel construction consisting of two solebars connected to the saddles, crossbearers and the two headstocks. The sheets and sections are made of S355J2 or S355J2C. The underframe has been prepared for the automatic coupler to be installed later.

The wagon body is a welded steel construction consisting of side walls, end walls, a saddle-shaped floor with an inclination of 49° and four discharge flaps hinged to the side walls (side flaps). The flap gaps with a loaded wagon are max. 1 mm. Joints and bearings are of a corrosion-resistant and zero-maintenance design.

The parts of the wagon body exposed to wear by the cargo are made of S355J2 or S355J2C steel. The contact surfaces where the flaps meet the body and the ridge angles of the longitudinal and transverse saddles are made of 1.4301 high-grade steel. The upper edge bar at the loading opening has a rounded top and consists of a folded section made of S355J2C.

The wagon is equipped with a camlock shaft closing mechanism with a one by four flap actuation. There are two options for the flap opening width (max. 3750 and 4300 mm). Flap actuation is powered hydraulically. Actuation is possible on both sides from the service aisle in the bunker area or from the wagon platform. At least three opening and closing cycles can be carried out with one fill of the hydraulic accumulator. The hydraulics are protected against unauthorised actuation during travel. Emergency actuation by means of the hydraulic hand pump is possible from the wagon platform.
