Open bulk freight wagons with bulk gravity unloading, hydraulic flap-closing system and four wheelsets. Has a large loading volume for transporting coke or other lightweight bulk goods. Approved for use in Germany, Poland, Austria and the Netherlands.

All four flaps are opened and closed simultaneously by actuating a control valve either from the wagon platform or from the bunker gantry using a special long-handled carriage key.

Additional information:The wagon body consists of a saddle-shaped floor, end walls firmly connected to the underframe trusses, side walls, four discharge flaps hinged to the side walls (side flaps) and a transverse saddle that divides the wagon body into two equally sized compartments.

The saddle-shaped floor is a truss structure with a segmented design, the lower chords of which form the solebars and the upper chords of which form the ridge under the ridge angle. The saddle angle is 49° to the horizontal. The pivot bolsters, crossbearers and the beams for the air brake system and the drive of the flap-closing system are located between the solebars. The headstocks on the underframe are designed with fixed pressure stops to accommodate the draw gear.

The fully welded wagon body is divided into two equally sized compartments by a transverse saddle and a central partition wall. In the lower area, two large outlet openings are provided on each side, which are closed by sturdy side flaps. The wagon body is mainly stiffened by hollow sections. The corners are rounded by large corner filler plates S355J2G3 grade material was used for all sheets, with the exception of the upper edge bar (QStE 500 N) and the solebars of the pad reinforcement (QStE 380). The flaps are opened and closed by a hydraulically powered camlock shaft closing mechanism, which has been completely overhauled and optimised in both the hydraulic and mechanical parts compared to the predecessor types (e.g. Falns 183).

The four side flaps are opened or closed simultaneously. The pressurised oil required for the hydraulic equipment is pumped by a wheelset pump into a gas-loaded accumulator during travel (after approximately 4 km of travel at a minimum speed of 10 km/h, the accumulator is charged). To check whether the flaps are properly closed, an indicator (yellow signal backgrounds) is fitted in the middle of the wagon on both sides. These signal backgrounds protrude over the side wall of the wagon if the flaps are not properly closed and locked.
