Eas are open bogie wagons equipped with a continuous top chord, four double doors on each side and steel flooring.

They are suitable for transporting a wide variety of goods both in bulk (coal, ores, non-metallic minerals) and in packaged form (logs or semi-finished steel products (rod iron/slabs)). Rings attached to the outside of the wagon enable nets/sheets or tarpaulin covers to be fastened to prevent the freight from getting wet or to prevent wind losses from bulk goods.

Additional information:

The freight wagon is intended for transporting part loads and bulk goods that are not sensitive to weather.

The wagon body is designed as a weldment with continuous cantrails. The side and end walls are made of low-corrosion steel and are 6 mm thick in the lower area and 4 mm thick in the upper area.

Each side wall is equipped with two double-leaf hinged doors. The end walls are designed as flaps. The wagon floors have a low wood content. 25% of the wagons are equipped with a parking brake that can be operated from the ground. The wagon is capable of rotary tippling and end dumping.
