Article: Eanos-x 059
Eanos are open bogie wagons with a large loading space, high load limits, a continuous top chord, two double doors on each side and steel flooring.
They are suitable for transporting a wide variety of goods both in bulk (scrap, coal, ores, non-metallic minerals) and in packaged form (containers, black band coils, logs or semi-finished steel products (rod iron/slabs)). Rings attached to the outside of the wagon enable nets/sheets or tarpaulin covers to be fastened to prevent the freight from getting wet or to prevent wind losses from bulk goods. To secure lightweight loose scrap, hooks are fitted below the top chords to allow wire netting covers to be fastened. In order to withstand the heavy-duty stresses experienced in scrap metal transport, this Ea wagon has been specially equipped with reinforced walls and floors and fitted out with guards to protect the wagon's controls.

Additional information:
The freight wagon is a further development of the Eanos 052 wagon, but is only equipped with two doors positioned diagonally to one another. It is preferred for transporting bulk goods and part loads that are not sensitive to weather.
The underframe is a welded structure made of rolled steel sections in the St 37 and St 52 steel grades. The side solebars consist of U 240 and the middle solebars of U 300 sections.
The wagon body is designed as a weldment with a continuous top chord. The end pillars, side pillars and door posts are made of IPBL 140 sections. Additional relief pieces are welded in to relieve the load on the connection between the side pillars and the solebar. The top chord of the end walls is made of 10 mm thick sheet metal. The doors are made of 5 mm and the end and side walls of 4 mm thick sheet metal. The door leaves are extended by 10 mm on the hinge side to ensure the wagon body is tight. The door frames are reinforced. In the floor area, the walls are reinforced by 6 mm thick sheet metal to a height of approx. 300 mm.
The floor is made of 6 mm thick sheet metal. There are 32 lashing rings on the outside of the wagon body, 20 open hooks on the top chord and 16 tie-down rings inside the wagon, at a height of 200 mm above the top of floor. The freight wagon can be tipped sideways.
