    End of the slider

Open bulk freight wagons with bulk gravity unloading, hydraulic flap-closing system and four wheelsets. Suitable for heavy bulk goods.

All four flaps are opened and closed simultaneously by actuating a control valve either from the wagon platform or from the bunker gantry using a special long-handled carriage key.

Please note: Type is similar to the wagon in the photo. For exact dimensions, please refer to the data below.

Additional information:The completely welded underframe, mainly made of rolled and folded steel sections in RSt 52-3, consists of two lateral, angular solebars, which are connected to each other by crossbearers, pivot bolsters, buffer beams and the supporting structure for holding the draw gear.

The longitudinal saddle has an inclination of 49° to the horizontal. The saddle struts and pads form a stable supporting structure with the underframe. St 52-3 Cu 3 has been used for the pads. The fully welded wagon body is divided into two equally sized compartments by the transverse saddle and the central partition wall. In the lower area, two large outlet openings are provided on each side, which are closed by sturdy side flaps. The wagon body is mainly stiffened by hollow sections. The corners are rounded by large corner filler plates. St 52-3 Cu 3 has been used for all sheets.

The flaps are opened and closed by a hydraulically powered camlock shaft closing mechanism. The four side flaps are opened or closed hydraulically and simultaneously. The oil pressure required for the hydraulic equipment is pumped by a wheelset pump into a gas-loaded accumulator during travel (after approx. 4 km of travel at a minimum speed of 10 km/h, the accumulator is charged). Two actuation options are provided for opening and closing the flaps via the hydraulic equipment:

Actuation of the hydraulic control device with a long-handled carriage key according to DIN 25255 from a side service aisle in the bunker area.

Actuation of the control device from the wagon end platform by means of a manual control device located on the wagon end wall. If the accumulator system should fail, the oil pressure required for opening or closing can be generated by a hand pump.

To check whether the flaps are properly closed, an indicator (yellow signal backgrounds) is fitted in the middle of the wagon. This protrudes over the side wall if the flaps are not closed and locked properly.
