Open freight wagons with four wheelsets. These bogie freight wagons have a large loading space and are equipped with a continuous top chord, two double doors on each side and wooden or steel flooring.

They are suitable for transporting a wide variety of goods, especially in packaged form (bales, packages, barrels, logs, rod iron, etc.). Rings attached to the outside of the wagon enable sheets or tarpaulin covers to be fastened to prevent the freight from getting wet or to prevent wind losses from bulk goods.

Additional information:
The freight wagon was created by converting the Eas 066 and is preferred for transporting logs in lengths of 2 to 4 m. The underframe is a welded structure made of sheet metal, rolled steel sections and wide flat steel. The wagon body is designed as a weldment with a continuous cantrail. The upper side straps are connected to each other by two end crossbars. The side walls are reinforced by means of intermediate, corner and door posts. Some of the wagons are equipped with a parking brake that can be operated from the ground on both sides of the wagon. The height of the end walls has been increased to profile G1 for better capacity utilisation. The end flaps have been welded shut and reinforced by webs between the cantrail and the corner posts. For additional load securing when loading over the side walls, there are 12 indirect fastening devices on the wagon (tensioning winches with strap, 40 kN nominal breaking force) and lashing rings for securing or covering the load.
